What we hold

• Account details: company name, email address, password hash.
• The operational records your team enters: vehicles and their document dates, drivers and licence dates, walkaround checks and their items, defects, rectifications, photos you attach, and drivers' hours.
• Billing identifiers from Stripe — customer and subscription ids, and the subscription's status. Card details never reach us.

How we use it

To keep your records, show them back to you, print the pack, bill the subscription, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Where it lives

The database and any photos sit on a volume hosted by Fly.io (US, Virginia) and are encrypted at rest; payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. Access is limited to the operator and to ALGD LTD staff who need it for support.

Retention

Records are kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of a written deletion request after cancellation; backups age out within 7 days. Print or export what you need before cancelling.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, export or deletion at support@checkpad.co.uk. Where we hold records on behalf of your employer, the employer is the controller and we are the processor; requests about those records go to them first. You can complain to your data-protection authority.
